All three classes in the Mommy & Me Program are taught by Miss Amy (Amy Smith). Miss Amy has been teaching these classes for almost a decade and brings to the program the experience, dedication and knowledge that she has developed over the years. The nurturing and continuity between the three classes allows the children to advance through the program with a comfort and confidence that will prepare them for their nursery school years. Programs include arts & crafts projects, singing, storytime, snack, and free play. We suggest that comfortable, casual play clothes be worn to class. Your child will have lots of fun. Most sessions take place in Classroom 5 in the Nursery school wing of the complex. Please park in the parking lot and enter from the nursery wing door. Once in our program, each family will be given a security code for easy access into the school.

    Mommy & Me Programs

Mom & Tots (12-18 months) A parent or care-giver will participate with their child in simple arts & crafts projects, singing, storytime, snack, and playtime in a warm and nurturing environment. This program is designed with a very good young child in mind. State law requires that the parent, or other designated adult, must accompany and remain with the child for the entire session. No siblings or other family members or friends are permitted to attend class with the enrolled child and designated adult. The procedure is one adult per child attending each class, except for twins.

Moms & Tykes (18-24 months) This class is a place to be for a parent or care-giver who enjoys to participate in crafts, music and movement, storytime, snacks, and playtime with their young children.

   Toddler Fun Club (24 - 30 months)

This is a mini version of of our Nursery school program. For many toddlers it represents their first time away from Mommy or care-giver. Crafts, circletime, music & movement, holiday celebrations, snack, and both indoor and outdoor play will be incorporated. Join our club and have lots of learning fun! State law requires that the parent or other designated adult must remain in the building if the child is under 2½ year old. Siblings may accompany you while you are in the building. If your child is adjusted and is at least 2½ years of age, you may leave the building.

Food & Snacks Our nursery school observes the rules of Kashrut within the Congregation B'nai Tikvah complex. All food served in school is either dairy or parve products. No meat or shellfish is allowed. Smoking is not permitted in the school building or surrounding grounds. Inclement Weather If the North Brunswick Schools are closed, we are closed for the day. Check radio station WCTC - 1450 AM, early in the morning for an announcement. Our Mommy & Me and TFC teachers will also contact you in the event of a school closing.
