Congregational Survey

You've probably been asked to fill out surveys before. This one is different.
Why? Because the number of people affiliated with synagogues in Central Jersey is declining. As a result, many congregations are losing members and some have closed.

Instead, of sounding all the usual alarms, we believe this is a good time to look at how we might better serve our members. By exploring what we do well - and by looking at ways to improve - we can make sure B'nai Tikvah works for all of us.

We are not sure where this process will lead, but we are certain of two things:

  1. The answers will not come from a Board of Directors, committee, or handful of people talking after Shabbat services. They have to come from all of us.
  2. The time is now. We have a new Rabbi, a committed base of long-time members, and many enthusiastic new congregants.

Couples can answer together or submit separate surveys.
(Teens and older children living at home can submit one too.)

Remember, B'nai Tikvah is more than a synagogue. It is a community and this is our opportunity to make it the vibrant congregation we all want it to be.

It feels good to
know when we're
appreciated for
doing a good job.

Some AOL users have had trouble with
the survey not responding. We suggest
using a different browser, such as Opera,
Firefox, or even Internet Explorer.

The results will be published when they are
tabulated sometime after Friday April 18th.

If we're not doing
the right things,
we really need to
know that too.

At the end of this survey, you'll receive something special to brighten your day.

If you prefer mailing a "paper" survey, call the synagogue office ( 732-297-0696 )
and we'll arrange for a government employee to hand deliver a copy to your home.
