    AHAVA products are sold all over the world but, are losing their entire European market due to their boycott of Israel. Many European companies have stopped buying Israeli products, and stores, such as Selfridges in England, are now requiring special stickers on AHAVA stating "Made in the West Bank".

    When you go the the drug store instead of buying your normal brand, look for AHAVA products. (Department store brands are all European made products.)

    If 1 million American Jews spend $100 each shopping "in Israel," American Jewry will have contributed $100 MILLION to help our homeland.

    $100 is not a lot -- but, you will get something beautiful in return for your money. $100 is not a lot to spend. Most of us spend that amount and far more without thinking about it over the course of a week.

    There are many Israeli companies that are suffering terribly due to other countries and unions boycotting. The European Union has instituted a 15% import tax on all goods made in the disputed areas of Israel.

    So, buy yourself something nice for your home, buy a hostess gift, buy a mezuzah, a piece of art, a piece of jewelry, a book, a T-shirt. Keep buying until you have spent $100 in Israel, and encourage all your friends to do the same.

    We strongly encourage everyone to buy Israeli products. Make it a point to purchase at least one item per week that is either made in Israel or by companies such as Estee Lauder that support Israel.

    After 10 years of US/ISRAEL community projects, we are introducing another way for Jews outside of Israel to connect to family and friends in Israel by sending a Kosher Gift Basket on special occasions and holidays. Such a gift brings joy to the giver and receiver and can strengthen the connection between the Jewish people at large.

    For every gift package sent, B'nai Tikvah will receive 20% of the total purchase, or alternately have an extra basket sent to a soldier in your name.
