Honoree continues:
Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheynu melech ha-olam, a-share bachar banu mi-kol ha-ameem, v'natan lanu et Torato. Baruch ata Adonai, noteyn ha-Torah.
Praised is the Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, who has chosen us from all peoples by giving us His Torah. Praised is the Lord, Giver of the Torah.
