The sanctuary and social hall were originally designed to use indirect flourescents for a dramatic lighting effect. Unfortunately, the lighting only served to highlight the bumps, blemishes, and imperfections of the curved walls. Dim lighting and the addition of the tapestries effectively solved the problem.
